The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will hold a public workshop tonight to discuss regulations for home businesses. The commission is planning round-table discussions with residents on issues related to home-based businesses, including exemptions from getting a permit, hours of operation, prohibited businesses, outdoor storage, and conducting business activities in the primary structure and accessory structures. Also on the agenda, the Planning Commission will hold a continuation of its public hearing on the Development Code Update concerning standards infrastructure improvements, landscaping, parking, property maintenance, temporary special events, among others. And finally, the Commission will be asked to adopt a five-year capital improvement plan. The meeting starts at 6:00 tonight in the Yucca Room of the Community Center.
