A home-based firearms business in Yucca Valley is the first item on tonight’s agenda of the Yucca Valley Planning Commission. Managing editor Tami Roleff fills in the rest of the agenda…
An appeal of a permit for a home-based firearms business in a Sky Harbor neighborhood is the first item on the agenda at tonight’s Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting. A home occupation permit to assemble, buy, and sell firearms was granted to the resident of 8205 Keats Avenue home in April, but his neighbors are appealing that permit. The next item on the agenda is a review of the senior housing project; specifically, the conditional use permit, specific plan, site plan review, elevation plan, native plants plan, and the appointment of two commission members to the senior housing sub-committee. Finally, the commission will be asked to recommend that the Town Council approve the 5-year- capital improvement program.
