The Yucca Valley Planning Commission held its regular meeting last night. Assignment reporter Keith Bailey was in attendance and files this report…
Last night, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting began with Shane Stueckle, the Deputy Town Manager, introducing Jared Jerome as the new associate city planner.
Then the commissioners received an update on the Yucca Valley Elementary School sidewalk project; the construction of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and handicap ramps are scheduled to start after March 1.
Next, the commissioners received an update on the County Library Building project. They learned the contractor’s current schedule has the project being completed mid-March.
Finally, the commissioners voted in favor of an extension for the mini-storage facility project at Old Woman Springs Road and Paseo Las Ninas. The commissioners were a little upset that this project has been on the books for 12 years with little to no action being taken.
