YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION: DEVELOPER EXTENSIONS, SIGNS AND MURALS

0

After more than a month off, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission will meet again tonight at 6 pm. Reporter Joshua King has information on the agenda and how to view the meeting online…

Tonight’s Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting only features two major agenda items. First, the planning commission will recommend changing the maximum number of time extensions a developer can request for conditional use permits and site plan reviews. As the policy currently states, that number is indefinite; however, the commission plans to change it to two extensions.

Following that, the Planning Commission will vote to send their updated sign and mural ordinances to the Town Council for review.

If approved, then citizens who would like to stay informed on the new policies regarding signs and murals should turn their attention towards the Town Council.
