YUCCA VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION COVERS JOSHUA TREES AND PERMITS TONIGHT

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will hold their regular meeting tonight (August 24). Z107.7 introduces new reporter Jef Harmatz to tell us what’s on the agenda…

At tonight’s meeting, the commission will review and approve permits for the removal of one group of dead Western Joshua Tree branches (53800 block of Ridge Road), one dead Western Joshua Tree (7400 block of Palomar Avenue), and the encroachment of one Western Joshua Tree (57400 block of Airway Avenue) in accordance with orders from the California Fish and Game Commission. The commission will also discuss an exterior color change request for a business in the 54900 block of Twentynine Palms Highway and adopt the town’s five-year Capital Improvements Program through the 2025/2026 fiscal year. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center and will be live streamed via the links below.
