The Town of Yucca Valley is looking for volunteers to serve as a commissioner on the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Commission. Applicants must be a resident within the Town’s jurisdiction. The Parks and Rec Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month and acts as an advisor to the Town Council in matters pertaining to the planning and development of public recreation, open space, parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities. The commissioners also review programming related to the Hi-Desert Nature Museum, and special events and projects. Applications are available at Town Hall or on the Town’s website.
