Two Yucca Valley parents were arrested Sunday, accused of child endangerment. According to a Sheriff’s report, Karen Aldapemuralles, 23, and Mario Coronado, 27, were seen running half-naked across Highway 62 at Pioneertown Road about 7:20 p.m. and carrying four children. The children were not fully clothed either and were shivering due to the cold temperatures. Deputies determined that Aldapemuralles and Coronado, the children’s parents, were found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Karen Aldapemuralles and Mario Coronado were arrested for investigation of child endangerment, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with their bail set at $100,000 each. The children were taken into custody by the Department of Children and Family Services.
