A “toddler and me” class offered by the Town of Yucca Valley begins next week. Registration is open for the program which will provide fun songs, dance and crafts for children 1 through 5 years old and their guardians. Children will enjoy snacks, story time, new friends and activities while grown-ups can meet other new parents in the community and share support with each other.
Town instructor, Michelle McCaul, leads the class. Ms. McCaul has a bachelor’s degree in child development and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.
Two sessions of the class will run Monday and Wednesdays. The first session begins Monday (November 6) and runs through December 13, and the second session begins in January.
Registration is now open for the first two sessions of the class:
- Session 1 is scheduled for November 6 through December 13, 2023.
- Session 2 is offered January 8 through February 12, 2024.
Participants can purchase a full session of 10 lessons (5-weeks) at the bundle rate of $120.00 plus a $10 material fee or opt for drop-in participation by purchasing the $15.00 per class Day Pass. A sibling discount of $20 is available for session purchases.
