YUCCA VALLEY OFFERS ACTIVITIES TO KEEP THE KIDS BUSY

Since many kids’ activities have been cancelled, and families are staying home out of an abundance of caution, kids have a lot of free time to fill. Hilary Sloane offers some ideas to keep kids busy during the long summer days…

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum and the Yucca Valley Parks and Recreation Department have come up with a selection of fun activities and virtual programs for area children. Kids can host their own Olympic games, hold a nature scavenger hunt, play games in the backyard, paint with fluffy paint or salt paint, make coffee filter butterflies, or make water candles.
