A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday, accused of beating up another person. According to a Sheriff’s report, neighbors called deputies about 8:30 p.m. Friday about a fight in the 7100 block of Cherokee Trail. Jermain LaCour, 44, was arrested for investigation of spouse abuse. Jermain LaCour was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. The victim was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs for treatment.
