Two Yucca Valley men were arrested Tuesday, accused of illegally growing marijuana and of utilities theft. Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s narcotics division went to a home in the 53700 block of Ridge Road in Yuca Valley about 7 a.m. Inside the home, they found two men, Zhan Weng, 44, and Zai Quin Zhu, 47, along with more than the six marijuana plants that are permitted under law. Zhan Weng an Zai Quin Zhu were arrested for investigation of illegal cultivation of marijuana and for utilities theft and were booked into the West Valley Detention Center with their bails set at $25,000 each.
