Public School Month will be celebrated Thursday at the Yucca Valley Masonic Lodge. Awards for Outstanding Citizenship will be presented to selected students from each school in our local area. The program will begin at 6:15 with entertainment provided by the Yucca Valley High School Jazz Ensemble. The ceremony will start at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, and the public is invited. The Masonic Lodge is located on Theater Road behind Food 4 Less in Yucca Valley.
