A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after a stolen dirt bike was found in his garage. Deputies made a check on a home in the 7600 block of Joshua View Drive about 7:20 p.m. They determined a woman standing in the detached garage was wanted on a $5,000 warrant. They entered the garage and saw a 2004 Honda dirt bike. A records check determined that the bike had been reported stolen September 2 in Landers. Jaden Derry, 21, told deputies he had purchased the dirt bike for $250. After investigation, Jaden Derry was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000. On September 29, deputies investigating a case of strong arm robbery at the Yucca Valley 7-11 contacted Derry. At that time Jaden Derry was arrested for possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released on his own recognizance.
