Yucca Valley man violates probation by allegedly possessing a concealed knife during traffic stop

A man on probation was allegedly found in possession of a concealed weapon during a traffic stop.
On Tuesday (December 9) at around 1:30 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to Yucca Valley conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple code violations near the intersection of Save Avenue and Cassia Avenue. Deputies say that during the stop, they contacted Michael Fabela-Tellez, who was found to be on post-release community supervision. During the traffic stop, deputies say that Fabela-Tellez was found to be in possession of a concealed knife, which is a crime and additionally a violation of his probation.
Michael Fabela-Tellez was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed dagger and violating post-release community supervision, and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
