Yucca Valley man suspected of concealing loaded weapon during traffic stop

A traffic stop in Yucca Valley led to the arrest of a man suspected to be concealing a loaded weapon that was not his.

On Wednesday (April 2) at around 10:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies say they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for code violations on Lucerne Vista Ave near Pueblo Trail. They say that the driver of the vehicle, whom they identified as Jeremy Parker, 35, was found to have a suspended drivers license. Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and say they found a loaded firearm hidden under a seat, and that the firearm was registered to someone other than Parker.

Jeremy Parker was arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded hand gun while not the owner and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $30,000 bail.
