YUCCA VALLEY MAN SOUGHT IN STABBING

Daniel Rodriguez is sought in the stabbing of a Yucca Valley man early Saturday morning.

Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a Yucca Valley man suspected of stabbing another man. About 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Daniel Rodriguez, 23, was arguing with his roommate in the 7800 block of Fox Trail in Yucca Valley. Another roommate, Nelson Mora, 42, heard the arguing and when he attempted to intervene, detectives say Rodriguez stabbed him multiple times. Nelson Mora was taken to Desert Hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive. Rodriguez fled the scene in his black Jeep Cherokee before deputies arrived and has not been found yet. His Jeep’s license plate is 7YIZ042. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
