A Yucca Valley man suspected of stabbing another man Saturday was arrested Monday. About 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Daniel Rodriguez, 23, was arguing with his roommate in the 7800 block of Fox Trail in Yucca Valley. Another roommate, Nelson Mora, 42, heard the arguing and when he attempted to intervene, detectives say Rodriguez stabbed him multiple times. Nelson Mora was taken to Desert Hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive. Rodriguez fled the scene in his black Jeep Cherokee before deputies arrived but he was later located and arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon. Daniel Rodriguez was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
