YUCCA VALLEY MAN SHOULD CHANGE HIS NAME TO “LUCKY”

A Yucca Valley man is lucky to be alive after being hit by two vehicles last night. According to a Sheriff’s report, the man, described only as being in his 30s, was driving a quad eastbound on Buena Vista Drive without lights or a helmet about 8:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by another vehicle near Elata Avenue in Yucca Valley. The quad rider was pushed from behind into westbound traffic, where he was struck by a second vehicle. Paramedics said the man suffered relatively minor injuries, and was taken by ambulance to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs as a precaution.
