A Yucca Valley man was injured Monday after he rolled the vehicle he was driving and it landed on his arm. Shane Foster, 41, was extremely intoxicated and was arguing with his girlfriend when she tried to stop him from driving after a party about 10 p.m. Monday. She told deputies Foster took her car without her permission, and when she tried to call 9-1-1 from a call box on the highway, Foster drove her car toward her and hit the call box, destroying it. Foster then fled in her car. Foster rolled the car in the 57000 block of Crestview Drive in Yucca Valley. His arm was pinned under the car, and the vehicle had to be lifted to free his arm. Shane Foster was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs; the District Attorney’s office will review the case for possible charges against Foster.
