A Yucca Valley man is alleged to have led deputies on a short pursuit before being arrested on suspicion of drugs.

On Wednesday (February 5), San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop near Old Woman Springs Road and La Brisa Drive in Yucca Valley.  They say that the driver failed to yield and lead deputies on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended, and deputies say that the driver, whom they identified as Daniel Haverty, 28, of Yucca Valley, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Haverty was also found to be on parole.

Daniel Haverty was arrested without further incident on suspicion of felony evading with disregard for safety and possession of drug paraphernalia and was booked at the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held without bail.
