A Yucca Valley man was killed in a single car rollover crash Sunday morning. According to the County Coroner’s office, a 911 call was received at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, August 5, reporting a single vehicle rollover 14 miles south of Amboy on Amboy Road. Morongo Basin Ambulance paramedics responded to find the driver, Daniel Valenzuela, a 41-year-old resident of Yucca Valley, outside the vehicle being attended to by bystanders. Daniel Valenzuela was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger was airlifted to a regional trauma center. The Barstow office of the California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
