YUCCA VALLEY MAN HELD AFTER DRUGS AND WEAPON FOUND

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after he was found with metal knuckles. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a bicyclist, Brandon Doering, 28, near Condalia Avenue and Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday for not having the proper lights on his bicycle. During a consensual search of Doering, the deputy found drugs in a backpack, as well as metal knuckles in his pocket, which Doering said he carried for self-defense. Brandon Doering was arrested for investigation of possession of metal knuckles, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, cited and released.
