YUCCA VALLEY MAN GETS A LESSON ON HOW TO DEAL WITH DEPUTIES

0

Sheriff deputies are hoping a Yucca Valley man learned his lesson about drinking and arguing after he was cited for being drunk in public early Monday morning. About 12:30 a.m. Monday, a woman called to request a deputy to accompany her to keep the peace while she went to pick up her child from her husband, Jeffery Wire, 37, who was drunk and argumentative. When the woman and the deputy arrived at his home in the 7700 block of Bannock Trail, they found a wide array of broken property inside the home, including a large mirror, perfume bottles, a television, and a computer. The deputy stepped outside to talk to someone, and Wire followed the deputy outside the house. Jeffery Wire was then promptly arrested for investigation of being drunk in public. Wire was taken to the Morongo Basin Jail and released shortly before 9:30 Monday morning.
