A Yucca Valley man was arrested last week, after he was found with stolen mail. Just before 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, deputies on patrol in Yucca Valley made a vehicle check on a car parked in the desert, in the area of Sunnyslope and Palm Avenue. Inside the vehicle was Casey Moses, 34, of Yucca Valley. Moses was on probation for grand theft. During a search of the vehicle deputies found multiple pieces of mail belonging to other people, along with bank checks addressed to Moses. Casey Moses was arrested for his probation violation, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail while deputies continue their investigations into the stolen mail, forgery, and while they attempt to contact the victims.
