A Yucca Valley man was arrested after a deputy found a concealed knife on his person. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a traffic stop on a 1998 Honda about 3:15 p.m. near Joshua Lane and Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley. Neither the driver in the car, nor the passenger, later identified as Mark Chambers, 26, had driver’s licenses. During a search of Chambers, the deputy found a fixed-blade knife inside a sheath under Chambers’ jacket. Mark Chambers was arrested for investigation of possession of a dirk or dagger, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
