A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after he was found with more than a pound of methamphetamine. Deputies served a search warrant at a home in the 7500 block of Warren Vista Avenue in Yucca Valley about 9:30 a.m. and contacted Eric Sponholtz, 37. During the search, deputies found 1.2 pounds of methamphetamine, along with cash and other evidence indicating drug sales. Eric Sponholtz was arrested for investigation of being in possession of methamphetamine for sales, and for committing a felony while out on bail. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $200,000.
