A Yucca Valley man who passed out at a gas station pump was arrested when deputies found a loaded handgun in his possession. About 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, employees at a gas station in the 55800 block of 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley called deputies to say that a man, later identified as Georgy Sidorov, 20, had been sleeping in his vehicle at a gas pump for more than 20 minutes and was blocking others from using the pump. The employee knocked on the window to wake him up, but Sidorov wouldn’t wake up. The responding deputy determined that Sidorov has passed out in his vehicle. During a search, the deputy found a concealed loaded handgun. Georgy Sidorov was arrested for investigation of carrying a concealed handgun, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
