YUCCA VALLEY MAN FOUND HIDING A MACHETE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday after he was found hiding a machete under his clothes. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy was looking for a burglary suspect at Tortoise Rock Casino about 6:30 p.m. when he found a man, later identified as Josh Roggenbuck, 39, who matched the description. The deputy determined Roggenbuck had two felony warrants for $250,000 for spouse abuse and for a drug charge. The deputy searched Roggenbuck and found a large machete hidden under his shirt. Josh Roggenbuck was arrested for investigation of possession of a dangerous weapon, and on his warrants, and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $275,000.
