A Yucca Valley resident got into a fight with a burglar he found inside his home, and Sheriff’s deputies are searching for the suspect. According to a Sheriff’s report, the man arrived to his home in the 6900 block of Cholla Avenue about 3:30 p.m. and discovered a strange man inside his house. The alleged burglar fled southbound on Cholla, and the resident gave chase. The victim tackled the suspect a few doors down, and the two men began fighting; the victim told Sheriff’s deputies he hit the suspect in the head with a pair of binoculars, before the alleged burglar was able to get away, leaving behind a back pack.
