A Yucca Valley motorcyclist was killed in a Pioneertown crash yesterday. According to the county coroner, at 7:58 p.m., Troy (Jay) Lewis, 51, was traveling southbound on Pioneertown Road when he collided head on with a northbound 2012 Mazda. Lewis was wearing his helmet. Troy Lewis was declared dead at the scene. Two people in the car were injured and were taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
