YUCCA VALLEY MAN BEATS HIS WIFE FOR TAKING TOO LONG AT THE STORE

A Yucca Valley man who beat up his wife because he felt she was at the grocery store for too long was arrested Saturday. According to a Sheriff’s report, the woman went to the grocery store on Friday, leaving their children with their father, Tyler Curington, 22. When she returned, Curington began yelling at the woman about having to care for the children for so long. Curington allegedly began hitting her on her face and body with his hands and feet, causing bruising. He also allegedly grabbed her by the throat. Deputies were called to the home in the 7900 block of Valley Vista in Yucca Valley about 10:30 Saturday morning. After an investigation, Tyler Curington was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
