A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday evening after he was found with a stolen trailer. According to a Sheriff’s report, the trailer’s owner called the Sheriff’s Department about 3:30 p.m. to report someone had stolen a trailer out of his yard earlier in the day. The caller reported he was following the suspect from an address on El Dorado in Yucca Valley to Wal-Mart. During the investigation, the deputy contacted Daniel Dalpezzo, 45, who said he had bought the trailer, valued at $8,500, for $700 from a man he knew only as “Jimmy.” Based on the fact that Dalpezzo had no bill of sale, and the license plate on the trailer belonged to another vehicle, Daniel Dalpezzo was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property. He was booked and released on $10,000 bail.
