A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after he was found with a gun and drugs. About 5:45 p.m., deputy made a pedestrian check on Jesse Palacios, 25, near Miami Trail and Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley. The deputy found on Palacios a .22-caliber firearm and suspected methamphetamine. Palacios is on probation and is prohibited from possessing either item. Jesse Palacios was arrested for investigation of possession of a controlled substance while armed, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with this bail set at $50,000.
