A man wanted by law enforcement for suspicion of felony battery was arrested in Yucca Valley on Monday (January 22).
Heriberto Pena, Jr. 26. was taken into custody by County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Yucca Valley at around 10 p.m. in the 7400 block of Borrego Trail in Yucca Valley.
Pena’s outstanding warrant was related to an investigation of a previous incident of battery with serious bodily injury. The Sheriff’s Department was unable to provide further details.
Heriberto Pena, Jr. was booked into the West Valley Detention Center on $120,000 bail. He was arraigned on charges of Battery with Serious Bodily Injury with additional enhancements for bodily injury. He entered a not guilty plea to both charges.
