A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Thursday morning following a traffic stop when it was determined he had a warrant for his arrest. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a black Chevy truck for having an obscured license plate and no license plate light Thursday morning near Highway 62 and Rice Road in Joshua Tree about 12:30 a.m. The deputy determined the driver, Michael Pennington, 45, had a $50,000 warrant for his arrest for conspiracy. Michael Pennington was arrested on his warrant and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
