Yucca Valley Man Arrested for Suspicion of Sexually Assaulting a Minor in 2020

In August, 2022, deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station began an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of a minor.

The incident was reported to have occurred in 2020 at a residence on Cibola Trail in Yucca Valley. The Sheriff’s investigation uncovered information indicating that Daniel Proctor, a 22 year-old resident of Yucca Valley, sexually assaulted a minor who was 12 years old at the time of the incident. An arrest warrant was issued for Proctor, and he was located at the home on Cibola Trail on Wednesday, (September 28) at 12:45 p.m.

Daniel Proctor was arrested for suspicion of Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Minor and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with a bail of $250,000.
