Yucca Valley man arrested for suspected murder after welfare check finds dead body on Saturday (9/21)

Neighbors say that Hall has been at the center of violent incidents in the neighborhood for "several years."

A man was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of murder in Yucca Valley.

On Saturday morning (September 21) at around 9:45 a.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received a request for a welfare check at a home in the 57500 block of Redondo St in Yucca Valley around 9:44 a.m. Upon arrival, they reported finding a deceased male at the home, and the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division took over the investigation.

Early Sunday morning (September 22), detectives contacted a suspect, Brian Hall, 42 of Yucca Valley. Hall was arrested for suspicion of murder in connection with the case. He is being held without bail at the West Valley Detention Center. 

Neighbors say that Hall has been at the center of violent incidents in the neighborhood for several years, and at least two residents of the neighborhood have active restraining orders against him.

The County Coroner said that the identity of the deceased has not been positively confirmed yet. 

The investigation is ongoing.
