A man was cited for battery after allegedly accosting an OHV rider in a Yucca Valley neighborhood.
On Friday (January 3) at approximately 1:00 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of assault in the 55800 block of Free Gold Drive in Yucca Valley.
Deputies say that the victim was riding his off-highway vehicle when he was confronted by Mike Volcic, 68. Deputies say that during the confrontation, Volcic picked up a rock and acted as though he was going to throw it at the victim, but did not.
Deputies say that Volcic also grabbed the victim during the confrontation.
Mike Volcic was arrested on suspicion of battery, issued a citation, and released at the scene.
