YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR SPOUSAL ABUSE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday afternoon, accused of spousal abuse. According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the Burnt Mountain Mobile Home Park in the 7800 block of Valley Vista Avenue about 4:30 p.m. for a domestic disturbance between Larry Gonzales, 31, and another person. The victim had fled by the time deputies arrived, but was later located. Deputies learned Gonzales and the victim had argued, and a physical altercation had ensued, resulting in injuries to the victim. Larry Gonzales was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
