A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday night after he was found with a stolen vehicle. According to Sheriff’s Sergeant Derek Garvin, shortly before midnight Friday, a National Park officer saw a man standing next to a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer in the 75500 block of National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms. The officer conducted a vehicle check on the Trailblazer and learned it had been reported stolen earlier that day from a driveway in the 6100 block of Desertair Road in Joshua Tree. Standing next to the vehicle was Cody Lane, 21, who had three $50,000 warrants for his arrest for theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence.
