YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN U-HAUL

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday (October 22) and a stolen U-Haul has been recovered. Just after 2 p.m., Sheriff deputies were conducting an area check for a stolen U-Haul near Tamarisk Drive and Juniper Avenue in Morongo Valley. Deputies located the stolen U-Haul in a driveway and contacted Odie Beavers, 52 of Yucca Valley, nearby. Beavers had a felony no-bail warrant for his arrest and during a search of his person, deputies found the keys to the U-Haul in Beavers’ pockets. Odie Beavers was arrested for his no-bail warrant and suspicion of possession of stolen property and booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
