A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after a deputy observed him acting suspiciously. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies saw Brandon Logan, 31, ride his bicycle northbound on Hilton Avenue in Yucca Valley about 11:10 a.m. Logan rode into a driveway near Hilton and Pueblo Trail; he threw his backpack to the ground, and knocked on the home’s front door. The deputies could hear residents inside the home state they didn’t know who Logan was. The deputies detained Logan to investigate and discovered a knife handle sticking out of the backpack’s shoulder strap. A records check showed that Logan failed to appear in court July 5 for his arraignment for a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. Brandon Logan was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dirk or dagger, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
