YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED FOR MAKING CRIMINAL THREATS

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of making criminal threats. According to limited information from the Sheriff’s Department, a man, later identified as Juan Alcaraz, 51, went to a business in the 7100 block of Mohawk Trail about 4:30 p.m., and told everyone in the shop that he would kill them all. He then left the shop. Deputies later found Alcaraz in the 7500 block of Joshua Lane, where he was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. Juan Alcaraz was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
