Yucca Valley man arrested for investigation into attempted murder; victim hospitalized

After an alleged day of violence, a man was arrested in Yucca Valley on suspicion of the attempted murder of his ex.
On Tuesday (December 2) at around 9:30 a.m., the victim walked into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Morongo Basin Station to report that they had been attacked. The victim said that they were attacked on Monday (December 1) by their ex, Isaiah Kinder, a 28 year-old resident of Yucca Valley. Deputies say that Kinder and the victim were involved in an argument, when Kinder physically attacked the victim. Kinder allegedly attacked and choked the victim several times throughout the day and the victim was hospitalized for their injuries.
After receiving the report from the victim, deputies located Kinder at the Arco gas station near Hanford Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. where he was taken into custody.
Isaiah Kinder was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $250,000 bail.
