A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday night after deputies say they found drugs in his possession. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy saw Mark Hines, 26, riding his bicycle without a light about 10 p.m. near Antelope and Sage Avenue in Yucca Valley. When the deputy got out of the patrol car, Hines allegedly threw a glass meth pipe onto the ground near his shoe. During a search, the deputy located another meth pipe and a baggie of methamphetamine inside a backpack Hines was carrying. Mark Hines was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
