Yucca Valley man arrested for attempted murder after allegedly stabbing victim outside home

A Yucca Valley man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a person outside of their home.

On Saturday (December 27) at around 3:24 p.m. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a stabbing in the 98300 block of Mesa Drive in Yucca Valley. Deputies say that the victim had been stabbed in the abdomen with a knife outside of their home. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Deputies identified the suspect as Donald Crawford, a 59 year-old resident of Yucca Valley. They say they took him into custody at his home in the 68000 block of Michael Way a short time later.

Donald Crawford was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $1,000,000 bail.
