YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED AFTER BEATING GIRLFRIEND THREE TIMES

A Yucca Valley man is behind bars, after his girlfriend said he beat her up at least three times. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 1:20 Wednesday, a woman called the Sheriff’s department to report her boyfriend, John Harrison, 43, of the 56400 block of Anaconda Drive, beat her up three times, giving her bruises and a split lip that needed stitches. She also said she had a black eye from a beating the week before. Harrison had left his home by the time deputies arrived. He came back about 5 p.m. and beat up his girlfriend again, before taking off in his white Chevy pick up. A deputy saw Harrison driving near Anaconda and Grand Avenues, where he was arrested on a no-bail warrant and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
