A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday, accused of threatening to kill his brothers. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6300 block of Balboa Avenue about 4:15 p.m. because Eric Baez, 41, was violating a restraining order that prohibited him from contacting his family there. However, Baez had fled before deputies arrived. Deputies were called back about 6 p.m. and were told that Baez had returned. The report states that Baez attempted to get into the house through a broken window and threatened to kidnap, stab, and kill his brothers and their families. Deputies located Eric Baez and arrested him for investigation of making terrorist threats, booked him into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
