A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday afternoon, accused of attacking another man with a large stick. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jessiah Watson, 21, went to a residence in the 3300 block of Warren Vista Avenue, and when the resident asked Watson to leave about 5 p.m., Watson is alleged to have swung at the man with a large stick, hitting him in the head. Watson then fled. After an investigation, Jessiah Watson was arrested in the 58200 block of Canterbury on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. The victim, who was bleeding from the head, was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for treatment.
