A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday (October 30) after crashing his vehicle into a house. Just before 10 p.m. on October 30, Giovanni Carrillo, 26, was driving on the 7300 block of Palomar Avenue in Yucca Valley when, according to Sheriff’s reports, he struck a mailbox, drove through three yards, and then collided into a house. Arriving deputies suspected Carrillo of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Giovanni Carrillo was arrested for investigation of DUI and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail where he was cited and released.
